I'm a freelance software architect and backend web developer based in Berlin. I'm an API specialist, supporting companies in shaping and improving their API landscape. Over the years, I've taken on roles as consultant, software architect, and lead developer. I enjoy working in agile, international teams and focus on delivering software that is not only reliable but also built to last.
With more than 20 years of experience in the IT industry, my focus has been on cloud-based web development and, in particular, web services and RESTful APIs. From initial design to implementation, testing, and operations, I cover the full lifecycle of modern API-driven solutions.
My current focus is on AI-ready integration architectures: I align APIs, data access, and operational processes so AI applications and agents can be used reliably inside organizations. This includes Agent Skills, suitable clients and workflows, as well as an integration layer, for example via MCP, so systems remain controlled and auditable. With LightNow I have built a reference platform for this, including verification, trust signals, and governance policies for production use.
